For some, home video surveillance isn’t to catch thieves, burglars or home intruders but to manage and stay aware of their own household. Nannycams are small, inconspicuous video surveillance systems which some people use to monitor babysitters, live-in nannies or even their own pets and children while away from the home. Nannycams, though viewed by some as an unnecessary intrusion of privacy can be a valuable tool when used as part of a home video surveillance system.
